MIMI'S TREE YURT
"We won't ever forget our time here walking around the beautiful mountains and relaxing in the amazing bath."
- James & Emma, Brighton
Under the umbra of oak tree that Mimi the pony chose as her refuge, each detail has been made bespoke, creating this romantic retreat in the boughs of the Black Mountains.
Mimi's Tree yurt was the first dwelling built by the Longden family.
Together, we selected young trees with eccentric lines, then felled, peeled, shaped, bent and latticed each pole to make this spacious Turkomen yurt by hand.
"There are no words to explain how good for you this place is. We have spent a few days here and are more relaxed than after a two week break."
- James & Nicky, Cambridgeshire
"We both feel completely in love with Mimi's Tree yurt! Every little detail makes this place not only unique but totally magical."
- Ashley & Ali
Mimi's has a king-size bed with a VI -spring mattress, bamboo duvet and the softest draping bamboo sheets, a wood-burner, a sofa and a luxury copper bathtub.
Connected through a doorway a chestnut timber framed kitchen cabin has a double gas hob, hand made furniture and breakfast bar, an outdoor shower, and composting loo.
"The outdoor shower was a great experience, escpecially when you have a blackbird serenading you."
